Above left, Howdy catches Gris and Ned changing shirts. (What is this fascination the paparazzi have with the rippling, muscled bodies of former baseball players? Must be jealousy…) Above right, 10 of us, properly clad or getting there (note Anson changing in background), getting organized to go up to the reception/banquet at the Dairy Barn. Left to right, Braun, Rosenberg (with camera), Ho, Terry, Perina, Soutendijk, Lapp, Sharpe, Groth, Griswold.

Left, Ned making sure no reunion moment goes unrecorded. Center, Nancy chats with Kip during our round-robin phone call at Friday’s banquet. Right, Carl listening and Frank shooting as Griswold talks about his memories of The Boss.

Above left: The photographer waits for a cloud to cover the sun so the mass photo on the Library steps will be less contrasty (no cloud came). Above center and right: We parade from the Meeting House to the Chapel, organized by decades. Scattered among ’62 in the photo at right are Chip Detwiller ’61 (white hair, in center), Chuck Currie ’61 (blue shirt) and Doug Currie ’64 (brown jacket).   Below left: They took class photos out by the soccer field this year, where the picnic lunch was as well, not a good idea (the sun angle put everyone’s face in the shade). Below center: Des McCracken at lunch. Below right: Hair styles of the not-so-rich-and-famous.

Above left: Gib, Joan, Bill, Joe and Margau relaxing during the picnic lunch. Above right: Ned tries to explain the Living Machine in the Samson Environmental Center to Towner, Huib, Frank and Howdy.

Below, ’62 catches up with musician Ron Richardello, ’61, outside the Dairy Barn. Below right: Bev, Laurie and Jerrie at the Samson Center.

The reception on Saturday was at the Joline Arts Center. Howdy found a vantage point on a second-floor balcony, from which he got these wonderful photos.

Above left: Clockwise from 12:00, Huib, Towner, Gris, Mike, Kathy (at Huib’s side), and Margau (behind Huib).  Above center: At rear, Pat, Laurie, Bev and Ellie. Looking up at the photographer, Carl, Anson, Peter, Frank and Pierre. Above right: Ned chats with Joe and Gib in the foreground, while Bob, Joan and Bill do the same in the background.

Below left: Howdy and Gris, beer and white wine, casual and preppy… (photo probably by Anson). Below right: In this blow-up of the full shot cropped above right, see if you can find: Former board chair Hans Solmssen ’55 and his wife, Sally; Chip Detwiller ’61, Jim Brooks ’60 and Nick Heyniger; former teacher and administrator Steve Howard; Horton Durfee; former Head Mike Clarke and his wife, Amy; former trustee Tina Pray ’82 and her husband.

Howdy got these shots, below, at Saturday’s dinner, including one of me lurking with my camera (far right). The final shot, at bottom, of the pond by the Shaker Mill Inn just after sunrise, is by Peter Golden. Thanks, Howdy, Peter, Frank, and Carl, for helping to record this reunion!
